A green snack

I was tweeting with a crafty lady who asked about a green snack.  Snow pea pods stuffed with cream cheese and the edge rolled in raw sesame seeds is a great snack!  The secret is blanching the pea pods and cutting a bit off each end so your sharp knife slips into them to split one side.  And be sure to use raw sesame seeds - toasted ones don't taste the same - not as good.  Guys seem to like this snack.

I Know What I Want to be When I Grow Up

It's taken me a long time to decide what I want to be when I grow up - I've traveled the US and overseas, I've lived in large metropolitan areas.  I've done the arts scene, the music scene, the fashion scene, the computer scene, the writing scene.

At last, I realized my passion is the green scene.  I'm all about planting, growing, recycling, upcycling.  Someone used to call me his 'earth muffin.'  I think he meant it as a compliment.  It was after I made a frontier garden in a state with the country's shortest growing season that produced a good crop.  Now I'm an urban homesteader by necessity.

So this is going to be my garden journal, recipe box, craft corner, design shop and more.  I will try to keep it interesting and current!
